Ideas and experiences of (community) arts being used effectively within NRM extension, including:

  • Playback theatre
  • Illustrated discussions, drawings etc by participants of content
  • Long sheets of paper depicting ‘catchments’; people add to depending on their relationship to/with the catchment, river etc
  • Games – eg connectivity
  • Streetscapes – eg coastal whale watching areas with tiled/mosaics in streets of local species etc
  • Role-plays – eg acting ‘the catchment’ with everyday objects and people moving around
  • Stand-up comedians
  • Brisbane City Council programs
  • Qld Community Arts Network
  • Films – eg historical footage, current issues, people,…
  • TV shows – script writers (Script Writer’s Guild), to include NRM content, issues into TV shows and series
