Anna Cronin

Anna Cronin is the Executive Director of the National Farmers’ Federation. Appointed in December 2000, Ms Cronin provides political and policy advice to NFF’s Council on a wide range of issues.

Anna Cronin started her career as an economist with the Australian Bureau of Agricultural Resource Economics in the wool section before joining IAC and then EPAC, an economic agency established by Prime Minister Hawke.

Ms Cronin also worked in politics for 12 years for Andrew Peacock and John Hewson in the late 1980s and early 1990s as an economic advisor and then press secretary. Anna then moved to Victoria to be Chief of Staff to former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett.
