1. To examine the tactical options available to farmers in responding to changing weather and market conditions;

2. To detail the supply and welfare effects of strategic and tactical farm management.

Methodology: Mathematical programming, risk analysis, simulation modelling.

Progress: PhD submitted and passed. Several papers published and in process of submission.
