Barley is approx 25% of our cropped area in the Southern Mallee region of Victoria, other crops include canola, wheat and pulses. Approximately 65% of our barley is malting variety.

When we are planning a crop, 3 of the parameters we look at are

1. Reliability
2. Quality
3. Yield
