Abstract
Realising environmental rehabilitation policy objectives can only happen through kick starting localised on-ground actions. We need, and should welcome, a flurry of interest from a diverse spread of stakeholders itching to try out their ideas. We should aggressively encourage the running of trials to monitor and assess their impact. We then build on our successes and manage knowledge in an effective manner. This paper will examine obstacles and opportunities for promoting rehabilitation initiatives.
